2. Early C18 pair, each 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Light red brick with modillioned cornice of bright red brick and parapet above. Rusticated brick quoins. Gauged segmental brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars. 4 stone steps, with wrought iron handrails, to painted doors of 8 panels (now top glazed) in moulded architraves. Carved consoles support cornice hoods broken back in centre.

No 3 (Essex Coach House) forms a group with No 4 (Essex House) and No 5 (Arnoside and Arnoside Cottage) and the forecourt railings and gates.

No 5 (Arnoside) shall be amended to read No 5 (Arnoside House)

The group value note should be amended to read
