CROSSlEY STREET 1. 1164 Nos 11 to 15 (odd) (Marlborough Hall) SE 0925 SW 14/251 II* GV 2. Mid/later C19. Large scale, stone classical building. 2 storeys. 5 windows, Rusticated piers supporting entablature to ground storey (now painted and partly altered for shop). Order of engaged Corinthian columns in antis to lst floor with modelled entablature and blocking. Round-arched windows with enriched tympana. Central balcony. Interior has Five lst floor hall with Corinthian pilasters, enriched round-arched windows and coffered segmental ceiling. Broad gallery at street end "supported on pair of Corinthian columns, with decorative balustrade. A1 All listed buildings in Crossley Street form an important group together with No 2 Wade Street, No 12 Nos 18 to 22 (even) and Nos 17 to 33 (odd) Northgate, No 1 (with South extension of white Swan Hotel), White Swan Hotel and Princess Buildings, Princess Street and No 2 Crown Street.

Also all listed buildings in Crossley Street form a group with offices of Borough Engineer (rear premises) in Town Hall Street East.
