GV II

House, now divided into flats. 1900-1903. Architect A.Faulkner, builder William Willett. Red brick, tile-hung first floor and attic, steeply pitched clay tile roof with barge boards to gable ends and sprocketed eaves, large groups of chimney stacks rising on left return, at rear and between first and second bays right. L-plan with one gabled bay projecting left, entrance centre. 2 storeys plus attic, 1:2:1 bays, many paned mullion- and mullioned and transomed windows with sash window in gable end left, 3-light windows in gable ends centre, first floor unlit end bay right, 8-light window and two 4-light windows separated by a pedimented panel left, end bay left flat-roof canopy to balcony with turned balusters, French casement windows, polygonal bay below, 6-light windows flanking entrance and 4-light end bay right, flat-roofed porch with Ionic columns carrying egg-and-dart and modillion moulded cornice, 3 bays to right of segmental-headed opening, 2 bay returns, heart-shaped leading, original 2-panel door with 6-pane fixed upper light.
