Train shed at Piccadilly Station

Train shed. Probably 1881, being second remodelling of Store
Street Station built in 1842. Brick undercroft and side walls,
iron frame and glass roof. Very large rectangular plan. Large
round-headed windows in the side walls; cast-iron columns
supporting glazed roof of semi-circular arched spans,
staggered at the south-east end.
