WISBECH NORTH BRINK TF 4509 5/144 Nos. 8 and 9 GV II*

Pair of houses. Late C18, originally three storeys. Facade altered early C19 by addition of two matching three storey segmental bay windows, and height increased to four storeys. Bay windows recently rebuilt in brown brick with red brick arches using or replacing original segmental shaped hung sash windows. Slate roof, end stacks. Plain parapet. Four, third floor six-pane hung sash windows in cambered gauged brick arches. Twelve-paned hung sash windows above entrances to east and west at second and third floor levels. Bay windows with tented roofs and moulded wooden cornices. Matching entrances with recessed, four-panelled doors, round-headed fanlights in wooden doorcases with fluted reveals and pilasters.
