The description shall be amended to read;

Church.1884-7. Designed by Hugh Roumieu Gough. Brick; stone dressings; steeply pitched lead covered roof to parapet. Geometrical Gothic revival style. Aisled nave, tall clerestory. Low transepts. Tall spired fl├Ęche over crossing. Pointed lancets to nave. 2 light paired clerestory windows. Rich interior. Nave with clustered columns of marble to pointed arcade arches; diapered spandrels; statues in niches above piers. Shafted clerestory. Panelled barrel roof. Important fittings by William Bainbridge Reynolds and others. Reynolds' work includes lectern, hanging lamps, chancel and baptistry screens, altar rails, candle standards and paschal candlestick, the front of the high altar, the pulpit (1887), the Royal Arms, the sedilia and piscina,the clock etc, also some of the stained glass windows. Reredos by Ernest Geldart; stations of the Cross by Franz Vinck of Antwerp. Stained glass by Kempe, in Baptistry, 1887, and Lady Chapel, 1888.
