SHUSTOKE MOAT HOUSE LANE SP2390, SP28NW (South side) 13/191, 5/191 Moat, bridges and gatepiers at 11/11/52 Shustoke Hall Farmhouse (Formerly listed under Shustoke Hall) GV II* Homestead moat. c.1686. Sandstone rubble revetments. Upper courses and parapet of red brick of random bond with sandstone coping. Rectangular plan. West arm is dammed for principal entrance to forecourt of house. Gatepiers on west side. Red brick with stone cornices and ball finials. Brick pilasters and scroll capitals to the responds with rebates for the gates. The south arm is crossed by a footbridge of red brick with the piers for a gate or doorway in the middle. It has steps down to the water. (VCH: Warwickshire: Vol IV)
