Semi-detached villas. 1830-2, refenestrated late C19. Architect C.A.Busby. Stucco over rubble and brick, hipped bitumen covered slate roof with felt sheeting to centre, boarded overhanging eaves. Three storeys over basement, 1:3:3:1 bays; double bow fronted with entrances in outer bays, flat string courses and rusticated ground floors, sash windows mainly without glazing bars, continuous canopy hoods to first floor French casement windows carried on cast iron supports with cast-iron balconies, flat-roofed pilaster porches with bottle balustrading approached by flight of steps, rectangular fanlights and early C19 studded and panelled doors with inserted lights. Long 6-bay return of No.19 to Alice Street, with irregular fenestration.
