Terrace of dwellings and offices with shops at ground floor level. c1870. Yellow stock bricks, moulded brick detailing, brick quoins; rusticated brick piers or quoins distinguish each unit with shaped brackets at ground floor level; mansard slate roof behind moulded parapet with dentil cornice in taller, outer bays, brick stacks with moulded caps. Terrace with extra storey to end bays, abutting buildings to right, returned left onto Fourth Avenue. 3 storeys plus attic, 1:6:1 bays, all sash windows with one vertical glazing bar, outer bays break forward slightly with gabled dormers, cast-iron balconies to windows below, tripartite windows to each floor, first floor distinguished by segmental-headed pediments each containing shells and foliage decoration in the tympanum. C20 shop fronts apart from the centre bays Nos 102-4 (Cullens) which has a wooden pediment with a rustic scene in the tympanum, believed to be original. Three-bay left return to Fourth Avenue. Forms a group with Nos 105-119 (odd) Church Road (qv) opposite.
