Terrace of 4 houses, now flats and bank. 1828-30. Architects
Amon Wilds and C.A.Busby. Stucco over brick, roofs concealed
behind parapet. Plan: terrace abutting the west side of
Brunswick Square (qv). Each unit 4 storeys over basement, 3
bays, bow-fronted, baluster parapet, moulded cornice, flat
strings, rusticated ground floors, sash windows without
glazing bars to third, second and ground floors, first floor
French windows opening onto individual cast iron balconies of
acanthus leaf design; blind boxes to first floor windows of
No.5. Square-headed entrances, recessed doors with fanlights;
No 1 late C19 two-light door with stained glass; No.3 Ionic
columnar doorcase with entablature, C20 door; No.5 similar
doorcase with horizontal panels to door; No.7 pilaster
doorcase, entrance no longer in use. The balustrade is missing
from No.3. Cast-iron railings returned from entrances along
street frontage.
