5/33 Tollgate Cottages
II
Toll-keeper's cottage. Early C19. Colourwashed brick, slate roofs.
L-shaped low single storey building of end on to road 2-bay double pile
building with 2-bay wing attached to right side. End of double pile range
has 2 C19 2-light casements, wing blank. Dentilled cornice runs around whole
building. Roof of wing hipped and stacks in centre of double pile range on
left ridge and right of central valley.
