Public House, former house. C17 altered. Timber framed with
colourwashed brick infill. Some colourwashed rubblestone, and
north elevation roof pitch changed and wall extended in brick and stud.
Thatched roof, half hipped to gable at left. One storey plus dormers.
Letter-L plan with north range gable end to road and south-west range
fronting road. Street or west front has centre door under glazed
verandah, two 3-light and one 2-light casements. Eaves dormer to
right bay, left bay gabled with exposed timber framing and truss,
3-light gable window. Right or south gable elevation timber framed with
tiled ground floor addition. North elevation has ground floor
casement, eaves swept over central projection, eaves dormer and at
east single storey plain tile roofed addition. Stack half way
along north wing and to south gable of south-west range.
