EMERSON ROAD 1. 5027 Ilford Railings, gates and TQ 48 NW 5/12 10.4.54 gatepiers to Valentines Park II* 2. The gatepiers are of Portland stone and of enriched bombé shape with vase surmounts. The railings are late C18. Resited; in 1772 they faced the garden front of the house. (Plate in Muilman's History of Essex).
