CHARWELTON A361 SP55NW (East side) 4/57 Packhorse bridge over River 18/01/68 Cherwell GV II* Packhorse bridge, now foot bridge. Probably C15. Coursed dressed ironstone. Two pointed arches, central cut-water on up-stream side, low stone parapet with string course. (Buildings of England: Northants: 1973, p.147).
