THE NEWARKE 1. 5304 (North Side) Iron Gates in Garden at rear of Skeffington House ( Newarke Houses SK 5804 SW 2/297 Museum) II* GV 2. Originally at Quenby Hall, Leicestershire, later used as entrance gates at Leicester Royal Infirmary, Fine early C18 wrought iron gates with overthrow and large square wrought iron piers with ornate finials.

Skeffington House, the Iron Gates and Leicester High Cross in garden of Skeffington House, Chantry House and Newarke Wall together with all listed buildings in Castle Steet, Castle Yard and Castle View form a group.
