Church. Probably C12 in origin with Cl? east window and 1858 transept and
restoration. Roughcast stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Single
vessel nave and chancel with north vestry and transept. Coped gables. South
elevation has 3 single-chamfered 2-light plate tracery windows; gabled porch has
elliptical-arched opening and C12 inner single-chamfered entrance, lancet to
east. Blocked pointed entrance to chancel. West 3-light traceried window;
window of 2 elliptical-headed lights to vestry under catslide roof, similar
3-light north window and entrance with sunk ogee to lintel. East gable end has
straight-headed double-chamfered mullioned window of 3 elliptical-headed lights,
probably C17. Gabled transept has quoins with 2 north lancets, return lancets.
Interior has box pews, 3 posts with arch braces to transept. Pulpit has tracery
panels with balustrade over. Good C19 stained glass. Some headstones to east
wall.
