Parish Church 1789, altered 1844 by Edward Davis of Bath for the Duke of Cork and Orrery. Squared and coursed Doulting rubble, stone tile roof. Consists of nave, chancel, North chapel, and West tower of 3 stages. Romanesque. Nave of 3-bays has semi circular headed windows with heavily enriched surrounds; cross gabled chancel has rose window to South, East window of 3-light, semi circular head on each light. Semi circular head door opening on South side of tower, again heavily enriched. Nave under elaborate hammer bean roof has gallery, chancel under stone vaulted roof. Salient feature is the stained glass in the East window; of the C15 from the abbey of Altenberg near Cologne. Furniture includes 2 C17 wooden chests. Many monuments to Boyle family, Duke of Cork and Orrery, most notable to Louisa Boyle of 1826 under tower.
