Norman chancel, nave and central tower, probably early C12. C13 or C14 south aisle englarged 1878 by Carpenter and Ingelow. Carved Norman tympanum to north doorway. Brass with verses and figures, 1616. Monuments: 1724 to John Bridges, historian of Northamptonshire; 1741, marble with cherubim; 1718, carved marble by Thomas Green; 1754 carved marble. V.C.H., III, pp178-9.

The Church of St Botolph, Rectory and Rectory Cottage form a group.
