Gate piers, gates and adjoining wall. C18 or early C19.
Ashlar piers. Cylindrical on square bases. A cabled
string and moulded cornice contain a series of similar
armorial bearings ranged around the top nf the piers. A
coronet and fleur de lys surmount a shield bearing 5 leaved
foliage. Each pier is capped by a cast iron coronet with
floral decoration surrounding a stone cockerel. Double
iron gates with floral decoration flanked by iron gate
posts and short lengths of railings connecting with the
stone piers. Ashlar wall to east with ball ornaments.
L-shape; approximately 3 ft. high and 5 yards long.
